“We are poor but happy” — Siem Reap, Cambodia

“Poached Egg Quest”

From 2013 to 2015, I have created series of 1-minute video content under the moniker “Poached Egg Quest.” The intent behind this project is to showcase events and small local businesses around the Bay Area and exercise my personal interest to document activities that took me to many exciting places during my earliest years in Northern California.

The result was a collection of 20 videos that captured diverse facets of Bay Area ranging from a local farmers markets to gritty DIY music venues to serene landscapes of California.

Each video captures the moment that I felt very important at the time. Some places may not exist anymore, but they certainly still brings back vivid memories. I have full write ups on each event/location in the past posts which you can find thumbing through the archives or simply type in keywords in the search bar. Have fun.
