Back on my long overdue travel diary from the last New Year’s Eve — at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area in Nevada (not to be mixed up with State Park in California of the same name) I was blessed by mystical weather condition that allowed me to get the taste of both crispy blue sky and hazy snow sky in Las Vegas.

My heels were worn from previous days of heavy hiking, but my curiosity and motivation was not easily succumbed by it.

Life is too short to waste away on thinking backward. It is way too short for regrets to blind the positive light in future. Stop filling your mind with meaningless thoughts and move on. My adventurous hike up to Turtlehead Peak, although it was challenging under the harsh weather condition, was my only valid decision at the time and it well worth taking the risk to complete it.
