The Messenger (April 2008) A story about the messenger whose job is to deliver the letters of death to the people. The cycle of delivery signifies the endless loop of daily works and unescapable obligation once we get stuck in the hurricane of society. Through a warmth of human touch he witnesses on Francois Truffault's Jules and Jim, the messenger finds guilt in his work and decides to step away. -------------------------------- As for Emerson College's Introduction to Film Production final project, I have decided to achieve the melancholic and sensational tone of Italian Neo-realism and early French New Wave cinemas. The film was shot on 16mm Kodak B&W reversal stocks using good old Bolex film camera. Please enjoy.
